ABOUT ME

Born in Eutin and raised in Travemünde, he initially completed his secondary school leaving certificate with a focus on electrical engineering. Afterwards he completed an apprenticeship as a draftsman in the field of civil engineering, road construction and landscaping at the company Planlabor Stolzenberg in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and obtained a subject-related higher education entrance qualification in evening school form.

He decided to study for a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, which he successfully completed. After working for several years in companies such as Julius Berger, Leitwerk and DB Netz AG and holding various positions as a civil engineer, railroad construction supervisor, change management consultant, project manager and risk manager, he completed a Master's degree in Global Management and Communication at AKAD University.

Björn Ridders grew up with German as his mother tongue and speaks business fluent English. He also has a keen interest in learning languages. He has basic knowledge of Spanish, French, Mandarin, Indonesian and Russian.

He lives in Reichertsheim near Munich and is currently taking a career break to travel around East Asia, South East Asia and Europe. During this time, he is continuing his education in the fields of new work and computer science and writes stories on the Medium platform.
